There are now increasing hints that Leicester City are preparing to finally make some signings this summer. Now that Marti Cifuentes is in place, only a few obstacles such as having no money, a decreasing profile and hardly any time are stopping incoming transfers happening.

In all seriousness, we will explain why LCFC supporters can prepare to be happy - for now. In order to aid their prospective acquisitions and loans, we believe the King Power ownership and recruitment department should commission the sale of one seemingly unneeded Fox.

Offloading the 90k-a-week man, and a ridiculously well-paid mate of his, would be a perfect way to balance the squad perfectly. Not to mention adding funds. So why are signings feeling more likely all of a sudden. And why should City sell two ageing members of the squad?

Hints that Leicester City are readying signings

First of all, as I said before, Cifuentes has taken the role as head coach. The Catalan will wish to put his stamp on the team over the minimal remaining days prior to the season beginning. An increased amount of links are also emerging.

The East Midlanders have also gotten a loan from Australian bank, Macquarie. This injection of cash, which is "secured against Premier League funds owed to City until June 2028", is well-timed for new recruits as well.

Lastly, LCFC stars are forecasted to leave, creating improved chances of incomings too. One to possibly go is hopefully Conor Coady; whose Rangers switch is supposedly back on. Yet getting rid of the highest earner at Leicester, Harry Winks, is also a preference of mine.

As we have said several times here, getting rid of a few overpaid, underwhelming and potentially troublesome footballers from Leicester City Football Club would be ideal this summer. And we arrive at that opinion for a multitude of differing reasons. Winks living miles away and not fully buying into the culture are two.

The ex-Tottenham Hotspur central midfielder cost £10 million two years ago; freeing up that monster salary and reinvesting his value is an immeasurable possibility. Although Winks is a quality operator, cover is satisfactory at CM for the second division.
