Leicester City haven't had many injury worries of late, especially when you consider seasons gone by. Sure, last year and this season one or two are supposedly injured. I say supposedly because players predicted to leave via transfers were often questionably labelled as 'unfit'. Clubs take this approach in order to protect their interests and that of their current personnel.
But if you recall not too long ago, the East Midlands side had a plethora of crucial Foxes not available due to health and recovery issues. I remember way more than 10 LCFC professionals being out of action at one point under Brendan Rodgers. I believe King Power bosses even replaced pretty much the entire fitness staff and doctors at the club.
Though, as previously mentioned, City haven't sustained those problems as much this campaign so far, in spite of it being at an infancy. Yet players can become unavailable for different reasons. Sometimes international commitments and tournaments appear to dictate situations. And that is one matter the Leicestershire team will face over the next while, leading up to the festive period. One starter may not actually feature for an entire month after an important update emerged.
Up-and-coming Leicester City midfielder could be away with England youth for an entire month amid concerning update
Some truly exciting talent is coming through on Filbert Way. Leicester fans can anticipate and enjoy the fruits of the academy's astute labour.
Starlets such as Bade Aluko have been given chances; which they seem to have grabbed. While Jeremy Monga has already made a name for himself and is said to have acquired the most significant of admirers in a merely fledgling career.
Meanwhile attacking midfielder Louis Page seemingly solidified his part. The young City playmaker took Bilal El Khannouss' place. Although Page could be absent for some time soon:
"England’s [Under-18s] first game at the 48-team tournament is on November 4, with the final on November 27. Assuming there will be a brief training period before the group fly out to Qatar, that could mean Page misses a month of football for City.Leicester Mercury
That’s assuming City grant Page permission to play. Not many of the players in the England group are current senior first-team players.
But with Aaron Ramsey and Jordan James signed, and with a striker coming in to allow Jordan Ayew to play deeper, City should have enough coverage to allow Page to represent his country."
