Leicester City transfer rumours are on the agenda today (Monday, November 24), with plenty of typical speculation doing the rounds at the moment. The Foxes are expected to look to the market for winter reinforcements. If they want my opinion, that is the best strategy at this stage with promotion far from secure or even on the cards.

Yet LCFC owners The King Power International Group have financial worries in England and in their homeland of Thailand. A legal battle against the Premier League (as well as the English Football League Championship organisation) is said to get underway this week. Therefore City could well be presently restricted, or when the New Year is upon us.

But this won't stop City planning; or even attempting to secure new players should everything be above board. Regarding areas of the squad that Marti Cifuentes may request new personnel for, claims suggest up to five new additions. Of course, a freshly sourced striker is the prime wish of the Blue Army.

Though Patson Daka did something to alleviate that pressing issue on Saturday afternoon versus Stoke City. A defensive midfielder, a playmaker, left and right wingers and, thankfully, a centre forward are mooted possible recruits for 2026. I would suspect that this supposedly leaked list relates to summer plans.

Anyway, let's hear what's suggested with respect to Leicester allegedly eyeing up, or being tipped to go for, Amara Keita and Sam Surridge.

Leicester City transfer talk

Amara Keita

First of all, the story emanates from outlet Africa Foot. They claim that four notable sides in England (Watford join Chelsea, Nottingham Forest and Leicester City) would like to sign Keita.

Albeit Keita is a defender, not an attacker. Not to mention that the Blues are reportedly winning the race due to the 'talent from Guinea being on trial' at Stamford Bridge:

"Keita is expected to spend two weeks with the Blues, and Nottingham Forest are reportedly his next destination in terms of a possible trial, meaning Leicester and Watford could have to wait before getting a closer look at the player."
Football League World

Sam Surridge

Surridge's name has popped up in the City sphere. However, the connection appears to be a mere suggestion at present:

"So, it’s surely inevitable that the Foxes will be in the market for a new striker this winter, and Surridge could be the perfect fit."
