Leicester City Football Club welcomed Stoke City to King Power Stadium for a Sky Bet Championship contest at the weekend. The Foxes are now back in the top half of the table thanks to the three points. The East Midlands outfit are also now only three points behind the third-placed Potters.
Evidently one or two (or way more, in actuality) SCFC supporters were disgruntled after the final whistle. They, rather strangely, chose to chastise and attack their own former goalkeeper Asmir Begovic after the game on social media. He now plays for LCFC, of course.
Clearly the Bosnian was one of, if not the, standout performer for the Leicestershire side on the day. The stopper used all of his experience and quality to outdo his ex-club in an important victory for Leicester. But today we are looking at the two goals which got us over the line against Mark Robins' men.
Two unlikely (at present, anyway) heroes emerged on Filbert Way. With two exceptional finishes handing Marti Cifuentes a first home win in around three months worth of trying! Let's get to it.
Stephy Mavididi scores another lovely goal at last
The entire Blue Army knows that Mavididi has this kind of effort in his 'locker'. It wasn't quite a worldie as such, though the winger scored an absolute beaut on Saturday.
It's a banger 👌 pic.twitter.com/Jb64AY9e91

As you can see, Mavididi took no Potteries prisoners. He danced through their defence and unleashed a rocket.

Watch Patson Daka's deft and beautiful match-winner vs Stoke City
Here at Foxes of Leicester, we are certainly happy for Daka, and the team at large. This may even be the beginning of a renaissance of sorts for the Zambia international.

Though the struggling striker scored this impressive chip under pressure, he must do more to win over the fan base. Let's hope he can!
