The television and Disney stars of Welcome to Wrexham descend on Leicestershire on Tuesday night. King Power Stadium plays host to the Red Dragons; who are now run by Ryan Reynolds, Rob McElhenney, the Allyn family and the owners of Mexican team, Club Necaxa. That's quite the résumé for an organisation. Though I must reiterate that all of the extravagance and pizzazz associated with the Welsh team hopefully won't wash on Filbert Way.

If we had it our way, I'm sure the Blue Army will agree that we aim to dominate the visitors on the pitch. Whether victory is obtained via footballing supremacy or a scrap is not a problem to LCFC supporters, I'm positive. We do not wish to be a footnote in the latest season of their show. For our continued prosperity and to fulfil the ambition of Premier League promotion - Marti Cifuentes and his men must overcome sides of this quality. So let's now react to Cifuentes' revealed starting XI, as Leicester entertain Wrexham shortly.

Leicester City vs Wrexham: reacting to Marti Cifuentes' starting XI

OK, below this paragraph is a Tweet (or post) from City's official X account. The image shows the Leicester lineup:

As you can see, the gaffer has made wholesale changes to his side. Some Foxes of Leicester predicted, such as Luke Thomas continuing over Victor Kristiansen. Not to mention Jordan James being fielded correctly in central midfield.

However, Hamza Choudhury replacing Ricardo Pereira was a surprise. Patson Daka coming in for Jordan Ayew is a shock. Although the supporters generally wanted Ayew to be moved, substitute Julian Carranza is the Fox we expected and desired.

Meanwhile Jeremy Monga's inclusion from, especially from the start, is a bonus. The winger took a knock recently.

Stephy Mavididi's productivity is down so his omission is understandable. At least Abdul Fatawu kept his place in the XI.
