On Saturday afternoon, a tumultuous Leicester City Football Club travelled to Norfolk for a game which was sure to be tense. What happened following the final whistle was arguably more intense than the actual fixture itself. You see, the currently struggling Norwich City actually make LCFC seem like a fairly stable team. Though neither of them are what you could describe as functioning organisations.

Thankfully for those of us in Leicester's Blue Army fan base, the Foxes were victorious by two goals to one on the day. Although, for a large part of the match it looked as though disaster would strike again for the East Midlanders' head coach, Marti Cifuentes. Ahead of the Championship clash, Cifuentes was said to be similarly 'under pressure' to the Canaries boss.

As a matter of fact, some people reportedly and humorously dubbed the meeting the 'El Sackico' derby. This was due to both bosses apparently being close to the sack. Evidently one of these managers was closer than the other. The person in question was immediately dismissed after Leicester beat Norwich!

Norwich City gaffer Liam Manning given marching orders straight after losing to Leicester City

The now former Norwich man was relieved of duty only two hours after the referee called time on proceedings. Indeed, according to Sky Sports, Manning left pretty much once his post-match press conference was completed. A swift exit.

Could Marti Cifuentes have been sacked if Leicester City lost and is he next to go?

OK, the question on LCFC supporters' minds is what's next at King Power Stadium. It is difficult to tell at the moment. Yet it looks as if Cifuentes will be given further chances for whatever reason.

However, should the Foxes not begin to regularly win, the Catalan will probably leave. If City had lost at Norwich, I'd imagine Cifuentes would have been axed.
