Leicester City Football Club have done some great business at the start of the new week. That is something I haven't been able to say too often in recent memory. While the transfer market was open, The King Power International ran organisation had worried their Blue Army fan base all the way up until the closing day. However during the final 24 hours, City did manage to secure the three and then fourth signings of the summer they seemingly, desperately required.

Although, even that pleasant surprise has been rather backhanded, if I can use that phrase. This was because Aaron Ramsey, who some like myself deemed a potentially excellent addition, got himself kind of unforgivably sent off early on in his debut. Though, to contradict myself slightly, I do urge the LCFC support to give the Burnley loanee another chance to impress and embed himself amongst the starting lineup upon serving his suspension.

Yet the East Midlands outfit's most significant transactions of the summer could be, amazingly, securing a pair of standout starlets to respective fresh contracts. First of all, Jeremy Monga was pretty much a footballing-household name at only age 15. He penned a scholarship deal which leads to a year-long maiden professional agreement next year. Monga is said to have rejected Chelsea, Barcelona and Manchester City, along with Paris Saint-Germain.

But, at long last, the Filbert Way side's bosses have tied down another breakout star.

The club announced their delight on the official website when confirming "talented midfielder" Louis Page initial pro deal. Marti Cifuentes rates the youngster as well, as he is thoroughly involved with the senior team.

Due to rash Ramsey's recklessness and Bilal El Khannouss' embarrassing exit, Page may find himself increasingly more pivotal than initially expected. He also reportedly has admirers. Details of the player's agreement are below:

"Academy graduate Louis Page pens first professional deal with Leicester City
The 17-year-old made his senior debut against Huddersfield Town
He was born in Lutterworth and joined us at Under-9s level
