Leicester City will be playing in League One next season for the first time since the 2008-09 campaign.
That campaign, the Foxes weren't the only sleeping giants occupying the third tier, though, with Leeds United amazingly in the lower pits of the EFL, with Nigel Pearson's eventual champions.
This time around, there is another Yorkshire giant that will be calling League One home with the Foxes, as Sheffield Wednesday attempt to rebuild their own fractured club.
Leicester's arrogance and nonchalant approach to relegation will make them a target next season, as several clubs - who were once viewed as being lower down the food chain - will want to pick up a scalp when clashing with the one-time Premier League winners.
The clubs looking to get one over on Leicester
The days of Leicester competing near the top of the Premier League are long gone now, with the clubs confirmed to be in League One next season showing how far the mighty have fallen, in such a short space of time.
Of course, no club has a divine right to be positioned in a league, with Leicester's near neighbours Burton Albion excited at the prospect of clashing with the Foxes in the third tier.
When Leicester were last in League One, the Brewers - situated in nearby Staffordshire - were slowly but surely rising through the non-league scene. Now, the Pirelli Stadium, which fits a concise 6,700 supporters, is ready to host a league clash between the two clubs.
Milton Keynes Dons were barely up and running when Pearson and Co stormed to the title all those years ago, with experienced EFL boss Paul Warne no doubt champing at the bit for his underdog team to unsettle the one-time FA Cup winners.
The best feel-good story in the EFL this season was Bromley, however, with former goalkeeper coach turned astute manager Andy Woodman masterminding promotion to League One, which is the highest level the Ravens have ever called home.
He has been outspoken with his thoughts on Leicester, too, with Woodman often a regular on BBC Radio Five Live, alongside his revered status at the helm of the Greater London club.
Woodman's comments on Leicester
At the Bromley helm now since 2021, Woodman has been just the right steadying influence the minnows have needed to make this wild step into League One, having started managing the club in the National League.
Leicester, since around the 2021 mark, has been on a sharp decline, in stark contrast, with their state-of-the-art training ground now looking very out of place in its lowly League One environment.
Woodman has offered his thoughts on Leicester's fall from grace recently, as the Ravens do battle with Leicester next year, among several other ex-Premier League clubs, with the canny head coach "gobsmacked" that this is a league fixture next season.

The Bromley manager has criticised the way the club has been run and branded the ownership “naive” ahead of a potential clash with the Foxes in League One next season.

He said, when appearing on Football Daily: "I'm gobsmacked. I mean, just to give you one sort of comparison to us and Leicester, we have one astroturf pitch that we train on.
"I mean, their training ground is unbelievable, it's incredible. And then when you've just listed all the people, all the staff, I mean, that is massive mismanagement.
"Let's be honest, I don't know who's to blame, where the blame is. And it strikes me from the outside, that's there been one or two liberties taken really, with the naiveness of the owner. That's the only way I see it."
With Leicester sticking out like a sore thumb in terms of stature, it will be interesting to see how they fare, going to small, compact grounds like Bromley.
If they think it will be a doddle, there'll certainly be a rude awakening heading their way.
