The Leicester City Football Club ownership appear to have ignored team manager Ruud van Nistelrooy's call for discussions on his future and the direction of the club. This instance is yet another indictment of the failing King Power administration. The chairman, Aiyawatt 'Khun Top' Srivaddhanaprabha and his director of football Jon Rudkin have failed to discuss the floundering Leicester squad with their under pressure boss. It is thought that the Dutchman would also like to, as previously mentioned, have discourse over his tenure.

The former Manchester United man wants certain assurances for next season, irrespective of this term. The 48-year-old is presumably chiefly concerned with signings for his flailing roster. Van Nistelrooy was so dismayed following the latest unfortunate and uninspiring defeat, this time to Newcastle United, that he appeared to backtrack on a statement on his commitment. Thusly he left the door open to all kinds of speculation. However, the one-time PSV Eindhoven head coach has actually retracted that statement. In doing so, RvN renewed his commitment to helping LCFC next year regardless of division. Great!

Leicester City bosses refuse to discuss problems amid Ruud van Nistelrooy retraction

Rudkin and Srivaddhanaprabha made a grievous error in dismissing Steve Cooper too early and appointing the unpractised van Nistelrooy. At the time, few members of the Blue Army wanted the ex-Nottingham Forest man. Though the Foxes would surely be in a better position with the Welshman.

The two Leicester chiefs can't even reportedly sack RvN, if you were not aware. Profit and Sustainability issues and a lack of funds have prohibited the installation of an appropriate gaffer. The latter would have no doubt been sacked if LCFC weren't in such disarray. It is alleged that they have declined to speak to van Nistelrooy about City matters lately:

"Last week, van Nistelrooy had requested discussions with the club over his future beyond this season, the manager seeking “alignment”. Those conversations have still not been had.

“I’m committed to the now,” van Nistelrooy added. “I’m doing everything I can with many people in this training ground. When conversations take place over the future, we’ll wait and see. I will tell you more when things are happening"

Although, van Nistelrooy has pledged himself to the Foxes again. The latest comment transpired after an ambiguous recent response:

"The Dutchman has now admitted he was “hurt” following that loss and that emotions affected his answers. On Thursday, he vowed to stay and fight."
