A supposedly accurate and exclusive report has suggested, as well as attempting to explain, why the latest Leicester City boss has potentially lost the Foxes dressing room already. In fact, LCFC manager Steve Cooper probably never had the squad totally under his full control and obedient. At the very least, important stars who really count and affect proceedings arguably haven't bought into the Welshman's differing ways to ex-gaffer Enzo Maresca. Could the former Nottingham Forest manager actually face a mutiny at King Power Stadium if he's not careful? That's essentially the view of a claim we will now examine.

Steve Cooper isn't on the ropes yet but his Leicester City team have taken more punches than they've landed so far - is a knock out credibly on the cards for the Foxes head coach?

As a Leicester fan, you'd be forgiven for quietly hoping Cooper would have convinced you of his suitability by now. That unlikely and unforeseeable scenario sadly hasn't become reality for the 44-year-old.

Cooper might perhaps still wrangle himself the backing of the LCFC supporters at some stage. Hopefully he does, because that means we'd be winning! If you'll buy my rather sanguine theory.

A win at Crystal Palace, which wasn't on the cards but edged closer, was sadly snatched away. That would have handed the one-time Liverpool Academy and England youth coach a much-needed boost on Filbert Way.

If a victory had transpired by now, the fan base would have a tangible factor to base some loyalty and optimism on. As it stands right now, worry and annoyance is beginning to spread within the Blue Army. Negativity isn't completely pervasive, yet the majority of the vocal and active online Foxes faithful has pretty much turned on Cooper.

Calmer, more measured but still ferociously loyal elements of the support are also unhappy with the quality of football on display. In addition to that, some on-pitch managerial decisions and certain practices are beginning to unsettle and even trouble some spectators too.

Are the LCFC players additionally turning on Steve Cooper at this tender point in the season?

Most concerning for management, though, will be the suggestion that Cooper's men are unconvinced and may ultimately conspire against him. That's what Football Insider basically asserted on Tuesday morning.

The outlet addressed the east Midlands side's 'difficult' start to the season. While the publication goes on to make some quite alarming declarations:

"Leicester City players are unconvinced by Steve Cooper’s methods amid dressing room mutiny fears, sources have told Football Insider.

Whispers about Cooper first surfaced during pre-season at the Foxes training ground and have now intensified among the squad in recent weeks.

There are growing doubts about the 44-year-old’s ability to win over the players after Leicester’s difficult start to the season.

Club directors are believed to be increasingly aware that Cooper is struggling to convince a sceptical dressing room of his methods and playing style."
