Leicester City striker bags four goals in one game while on loan

While out on loan in the Championship, a Leicester City striker has bagged four goals in one game. A great showing from the fox in the box.
This season for Leicester City, scoring goals has not been the problem. In fact, they have scored the joint-most goals (8) in the bottom half of the Premier League table.
Instead, it's been keeping goals out which has been their problem. The Foxes have conceded 12 goals so far this season. Only Everton (15) and Wolves (16) have conceded more.
So, there are positives to take for Steve Cooper, as well as negatives to rectify going forward. At the moment, he is under pressure. However, a consistent run of good fixtures now would change that narrative.

One positive for Leicester City fans to take is the fine work one of their loaned players is producing. Last night in the Championship, Tom Cannon scored four goals against Portsmouth.
Currently on loan at Stoke City, Cannon has started four games in the league. He scored his first goal of the season last night, then followed up with a further three. Now, he has scored four goals in total this season, which is double what he produced for Leicester in the Championship last campaign.
Tom Cannon is just 21 years old. Last season, he wasn't heavily involved in Enzo Maresca's plans and this season, he was loaned out by Steve Cooper. However, he is under contract at the King Power Stadium until 2028, so there is time for him to develop.
It remains to be seen whether or not Steve Cooper considers him a contender for the future. That said, performances like last night will not harm his chances.
Let's hope he continues to represent Leicester well while out on loan at Stoke City.
