Here, Leicester City transfer rumours and news is analysed. Including stories on Facundo Buonanotte, Amir Richardson, Sam Johnstone, Oliver Skipp, Reiss Nelson and Steven Bergwijn. Will players from Brighton & Hove Albion, Reims, Crystal Palace, Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal or Ajax join the Foxes this summer? Let's take a look at what a mixture of sources good and not so good say about LCFC. Everyone in the Blue Army is acutely aware that the east Midlands side will likely struggle in the Premier League again if no more crucial signings are made.

Steven Bergwijn on the radar?

Let's start with Bergwijn. He is now back in his home country with Ajax after previously being in north London with Spurs for a few seasons. Leicester have recently been in discussions with the 26-year-old's representatives, if we trust reports.

The former THFC man is an electrifying winger on his day, if a little inconsistent for English top-flight standards. Claims from the Netherlands state that Bergwijn is available for approximately £17 million. The Dutch outfit are said to be aiming to 'balance their books' - as is every club at the moment!

Whilst playing in a comparatively slightly weak Eredivisie, Bergwijn is flying. He's netted 24 goals in two campaigns; there have been nine league assists during that spell. This attacker is well worth a City bid, with competition required in that department.

Protracted Reiss Nelson chatter ends

It seems as though Leicester won't attempt to lure Nelson to King Power Stadium. The Arsenal wingman would be a potentially thrilling addition for City. However, the suggestion is that his apparent £20m asking price was too rich for the Leicestershire club.

Oliver Skipp destined to depart Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

Leicester target Skipp is set to leave his long-time home before the summer transfer market's culmination. The Lilywhites midfielder is another who would surely be an upgrade on certain Foxes and others prospects. The Telegraph name newly promoted trio LCFC, Ipswich Town and Southampton as potential suitors.

Is Crystal Palace's Sam Johnstone required?

Unless Mads Hermansen leaves Leicester, I can't see any need for a further goalkeeper. Nevertheless, the Eagles stopper is connected with LCFC. Nottingham Forest, Southampton and Wolves were mentioned as interested alongside the Foxes by trusted reporter David Ornstein.

Amir Richardson to Leicester City?

Below is a quote from GiveMeSport concerning the supposed tracking of midfield star Amir Richardson:

"Tottenham are interested in signing Reims' Amir Richardson, but face stiff competition from the likes of Everton, Brentford and Leicester City for the midfielder's signature, according to HITC Sport."

Brighton's Buonanotte on the list?

The final footballer to hear about is Argentine Seagull, Buonanotte. A young professional who has shown exceptional EPL promise:

"Leicester close in on loan deal for Facundo Buonanotte, with the Brighton star due to have a medical TODAY - as Steve Cooper eyes four more signings before deadline day"
