At the time of writing, Leicester City head coach Enzo Maresca has not been announced as new Chelsea Football Club manager. However, according to typically spot-on outlet The Telegraph, the Italian has actually been appointed. Unfortunately, one of Maresca's first moves as Blues boss will almost certainly anger Foxes fans around the world. Will he poach a shining star of the east Midlands outfit?

In addition to that matter, Foxes of Leicester speak about a potential issue in targeting West Bromwich Albion's Carlos Corberan. A supposed Profit and Sustainability complication has been highlighted in the midst of Leicester's search for a successor to Maresca. It all seems a mess for LCFC at present, but they always find a resolution eventually. It will be sorted it out in the end - hopefully!

As the local paper Leicester Mercury put it, 'the hunt for Enzo Maresca’s replacement has begun in earnest'. Why did the media company phrase it that way? Well, the Financial Fair Play worries (now referred to as PSR as opposed to FFP, confusingly) at King Power Stadium could hamper the installation of an appropriate Leicester manager.

Corberan definitely appears to be favourite for the top job on Filbert Way, at least in the minds of national and regional journalists, sports organisations and pundits. I am unsure as to the general consensus within the Blue Army at present. Supporters might still be preoccupied with their shock at Maresca's early exit following the first Premier League offer.

Chelsea could well make the 44-year-old's appointment public sometime on Friday, May 31. Sam Wallace of The Telegraph asserts that the former Manchester City staff member has signed a
five-year contract at Stamford Bridge; there is an option for an extra season too.

The now former City head coach shall be Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali's fifth team gaffer in just two years. Ex-Blues goalkeeper and Maresca assistant Willy Caballero will join his colleague in leaving the Foxes, along with a host of others.

Meanwhile it is claimed that the LCFC ownership may struggle with their managerial nomination. Adhering to PSRs will restrict the club. Notably, apparent first-choice Corberan has just penned an extension to his existing Baggies agreement.

Rumours of Enzo Maresca poaching Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall begin

At the moment, talk is only beginning. Yet there is speculation that Maresca could target LCFC midfielder Dewsbury-Hall for a transfer to Chelsea. If this actually transpires, the prospective departure and unfair ploy will undoubtedly upset the Leicester faithful more than losing Maresca:

"Leicester midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall is another Maresca may look to bring with him to Chelsea after a superb campaign at the King Power Stadium."
