The football media have linked a possible replacement for Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall with Leicester City Football Club. In addition to this target, the Foxes have also sealed the capture of a promising midfielder.

Will Matt O’Riley finally move to England this summer after years-long speculation connecting him with the east Midlands team? He wouldn't be a bad acquisition - far from it! And what have LCFC got on their hands now that teenager Michael Golding has joined the side? One for the future, I imagine.

Leicester City stars at the Euros

Welcome to a weekend roundup of all things Leicester, and thanks for joining us. I hope you're not suffering too badly from headaches and hangovers following England's latest dramatic come-from-behind victory. Gareth Southgate and his men are providing less entertainment than they should be, or would like to.

Yet, nevertheless, the Three Lions are where they want to be: the semi-finals of a major tournament against beatable opposition with a massive chance of reaching the final. The French or the Germans, a respectively threatening proposition regardless of which nation triumphs, await in the ultimate Euro 2024 showdown.

We will get to the two topics at the forefront of this article in due time, I promise you. But, first of all, I wanted to get any potential Foxes internationals out of the way. Unfortunately for LCFC fans, now that Belgium and Denmark have been eliminated from the competition in Germany, there are no current City players involved any more.

Wout Faes represented the Belgians up until France ended their run on July 1. Meanwhile Victor Kristiansen, Jannik Vestergaard and Mads Hermansen were representing the Danes. Germany sent them home on June 29.

A new Fox

Michael Golding is now officially a Fox on this sunny and rainy English Sunday afternoon. The Chelsea Academy graduate was well thought of at Stamford Bridge; he made his senior debut for the Blues this January in the FA Cup versus Preston North End. The 18-year-old was at CFC for around seven years.

Foxes rekindle interest in Celtic star

O’Riley is certainly the type of footballer I see flitting in at King Power Stadium. He has the skill set and general profile associated with the Leicestershire outfit. Not to mention the Hoops man being similar to Dewsbury-Hall in some respects.

LCFC have company in their pursuit of the 23-year-old, who appears to be of Premier League pedigree. Southampton and Ipswich Town are reportedly fellow admirers.
