While Leicester City fans will be excited about their return to the Premier League next season, they will understandably be worried about losing some key players. It is a common practice for other top-flight clubs to keep a keen eye on the rising teams, which only results in transfer interest.

Another Premier League club who will undergo a transitional period next season is Brighton and Hove Albion. After competing in European competition last season, they will be under new management for the upcoming 2024/25 campaign. Fabian Hürzeler will be eager to leave his own imprint on the team he has inherited from Roberto De Zerbi.

Unfortunately for Leicester, they are one step ahead of the game, as they have booked in a medical for Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall ahead of a potential transfer. However, there is a twist...

Standout Leicester City star booked in for Brighton medical (with transfer twist)

According to Fabrizio Romano on X (formerly Twitter), Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall's replacement is already lined up, as Jakub Morder has completed the first part of his medical in Leicester. With KDH in Brighton completing his medical, Leicester are poised for potential Chelsea interest. Chelsea have contacted Leicester already about Dewsbury-Hall and they are contemplating a bid.

It must be said that the bid should exceed Brighton's bid, since he is booked in for a medical there. With Leicester's need to sell player in the summer transfer window to abide by Financial Fair Play guidelines, Steve Cooper would understandably like to pick up as big a transfer fee as possible. Currently, Leicester are set to receive over £25m in compensation fees from Brighton.

As mentioned, Leicester were prepared to lose a key player in Dewsbury-Hall this summer. Former manager (dare I mention his name), Enzo Maresca had already stated that he was unsure whether Dewsbury-Hall would remain a Leicester player next season. Unfortunately, he could be the man to secure that decision, if Chelsea decide to bid for Maresca's former player.
