I cannot believe just how low those who supposedly lead Leicester City Football Club have stooped. Have we no sporting morals, prudence or wisdom left at this organisation? It truly is rotten - looking in as a fan who covers the team every day.
And now one former Foxes goalkeeper has confirmed that the outfit is, as he put it, "carnage". The recently released player slammed City for multiple reasons, a few of which he revealed to the already suspecting Blue Army fan base. So, what did now-Preston North End stopper Daniel Iversen divulge about the at risk East Midlands side? Let's discover and discuss the allegations.
Recently released Foxes player heavily criticises Leicester City FC
Leicester have been in seeming turmoil for longer than their loyal supporters ever realised or conceived. It appears to me as though the club's owner and executives were, for all intents and purposes, concealing just how much peril the team was in due to their mismanage. And that is with respect to financial and on-pitch decisions.
Not to mention that King Power were clearly, basically hiding how bad their businesses in Thailand were doing. Obviously repercussions and reverberations from the aforementioned misdoings and negligence were visible for fans to see on the field of play. Now we have confirmation of the concerning Filbert Way disfunction from an actual Insider.
Daniel Iversen spills the beans
"There's a lot in the background people don't know. It's been frustrating."Daniel Iversen
Iversen is now at Preston - and I'm absolutely certain he's literally delighted to be out of Leicestershire! Just like manager Ruud van Nistelrooy, the Dane was treated appallingly, in the words of The Telegraph's John Percy.
And the goalie didn't hold back when giving an assessment of his previous three or so years at King Power Stadium. It must be said that what he admitted is quite shocking for the City faithful to hear, and a totally unacceptable way to treat staff/athletes. Evidently further problems have occurred that we don't even know about, yet!
""The year I went back (to Leicester) was really good to be fair.
"I was on the bench, played cup games and then finished the season.
“It was really good, but we got relegated and after that it has just been carnage: not letting me go and stuff like that.
“There's a lot in the background people don't know. It's been frustrating. “I had a lot of options to get out and play but so many people have to agree about a deal, which is what killed it really. I have been waiting for two-and-a-half years to get out and play again."
