Due to the rather shock sacking of manager Ange Postecoglou at finally successful Tottenham Hotspur, we are wondering what his next step could be. Obviously it is unlikely that a boss who has just triumphed in the UEFA Europa League would consider a Championship club. However, Leicester City take the unrealistic as well as unfathomable and make it a reality! So you never know.
Though, as I say, it is unlikely that the Australian would join the Foxes. Even if we had stayed in the Premier League by some miracle, he would most likely seek a top flight side competing in European competition. Even if us LCFC supporters would welcome 'big Ange' to King Power Stadium, it would be a fairly miraculous for him to come to City.
As previously outlined, I believe the majority of Leicester's Blue Army fan base would advocate a manager such as Postecoglou signing on. Although, the prospects of well-known or avant garde head coaches joining is harmed due to tier two status. We can dream, though.
Ruud van Nistelrooy is still in charge on Filbert Way - somehow. But are there any existing rumours regarding Postecoglou potentially becoming the latest manager of the East Midlands outfit should the Dutchman eventually leave?
Does speculation of Ange Postecoglou becoming fresh Leicester City boss actually exist?
As far as I can tell, Postecoglou has not yet been linked with City anywhere in the media. TCF – FILBERT WAY, an LCFC fan website, also describe the possibility of the 59-year-old coming to Leicester as 'unrealistic'. Although, similarly to myself, they do rate the former Celtic gaffer.
A so-called daily news X account and other Foxes fans have endorsed Postecoglou on social media platforms nonetheless. Yet the likelihood of that eventuality coming true is naturally slim.
Marco Silva of Fulham, Crystal Palace's Oliver Glasner and Brentford boss Thomas Frank are reported contenders at Spurs. Danny Rohl and Sean Dyche are ostensibly City candidates.
