On Tuesday evening, Leicester City Football Club have a difficult midweek match under the lights against second Championship side Middlesbrough. The Boro are where Leicester would like to be, and arguably should be. The Foxes, along with their loyal Blue Army fan base, are suffering through yet another disastrous season.

As a matter of fact, LCFC might even lose the luxury of being labelled a so-called yo-yo team. Becoming a plummeting outfit, as we were 15 or so years ago, now feels more likely than automatic promotion. Though hope remains (especially with the dreamers amongst us) that City can still turn it around and qualify for the unpredictable and slightly unnerving Playoff tournament.

Although, the manager for that hypothetical and, at present, unrealistic scenario might well be someone other than the incumbent Catalonian. You see, Marti Cifuentes is now feeling the pressure from disenchanted supporters. He will also feel inadvertent heat due to the unqualified leadership's failings over the years.

A bad performance and loss to Middlesbrough at King Power Stadium could, realistically and reportedly, be the end for the former Queens Park Rangers head coach on Filbert Way. It is claimed that being sacked is a real possibility for Cifuentes if Leicester's poor displays continue versus Rob Edwards' men. Let's hear the claim and learn which source made it.

Leicester City boss Marti Cifuentes faces dismissal should Foxes be defeated in unsatisfactory manner

I would like Cifuentes to be afforded slightly more time, in honesty. In truth, I would have preferred him to be given the appropriate tools to succeed to begin with. An alternative arrival could actually be worse!

Anyway, according to an apparent 'Exclusive' from Indykaila News, the gaffer is "in real trouble if performances don’t improve in today’s game v Middlesbrough." Indykaila 'sources' state that the 'sack' is a definite 'possibility' for the 43-year-old at this moment.
