Leicester City have hopefully been searching for the right centre forward since Jamie Vardy left the East Midlands. A few players are reportedly on the Foxes' transfer radar, including 19-year-old striker Ezekiel Alladoh. The Ghanaian, who'd probably fit in well at City, is unsurprised as well as pleased to have 'a major club' such as Leicester as a transfer option.
Foxes Forward line
Due to the clear uncertainty following Jamie Vardy's sad but possibly timely departure, Leicester City Football Club have been left without a first-choice centre forward. Patson Daka is still with the Foxes; somewhat surprisingly as he definitely didn't make the Premier League grade. Although the Zambia international could potentially be a potent striker in the Championship.
Daka was in the English Football League with Leicester previously during the title-winning campaign in 2023/24. However, the one-time Red Bull Salzburg man was basically the understudy to Vardy under Enzo Maresca's tutelage. And that is the same situation the former was in under Steve Cooper and Ruud van Nistelrooy.
So where are City targeting in the transfer market at present? Well, nowhere directly before the window briefly closed for around a week. Now that clubs can sign again, LCFC are still yet to strike. It is said that they want a target man, or a central attacker - and they do need one in case Daka is impotent again. Though he did provide 12 goal involvements in only 20 matches the last time he was in tier two.
Striker Ezekiel Alladoh likes having Leicester City as transfer option
Daka most likely won't be relied on - even as the backup striker. That means a main man is required. To that end, LCFC are apparently interested in Alladoh.

But does the Brommapojkarna baller's age and not quite prolific form rule him out? To lead the line, yes, as I see it. Yet he could well be developed for the future.
