A Leicester City defender has slightly surprisingly been added to the unwanted list at King Power Stadium. Why is this player expected to be sold this summer?
Which Foxes are leaving?
One or two City stars will probably leave the club during the offseason. That's if sides like West Ham United, Manchester United, Arsenal or even Everton bite the bullet and pay what is fair for outstanding players such as Mads Hermansen and Bilal El Khannouss.
In addition to potential star sales, a few fringe Foxes are expected to go as well. And defenders seem to be chiefly among them, that's if we trust the reporting of media outlets and journalists' apparent sources.
First of all, Jannik Vestergaard could finally go. Getting his wages off the books would be ideal for the Filbert Way team. Along with the former Southampton man, veteran overpaid centre back Conor Coady may depart.
Both hypothetical exits are highly championed by the majority of supporters, as I've seen it. However, Coady's switch to Rangers may be off now. And Vestergaard did recently commit himself to LCFC verbally.
The similarly underwhelming and unreliable Victor Kristiansen is another linked with a change of scenery. Again, a permanently transfer is preferable to a second loan here.
Surely nobody in the Blue Army would shed a tear if fellow full back James Justin was allowed to moves clubs. He's never fulfilled his high potential, and really let the side down last season.
Now a partially surprising name has been added to the list. That person is Woyo Coulibaly. But why was is a bit startling to see the Gonesse, France-born right back amongst perceived LCFC undesirables?
Leicester City full back Woyo Coulibaly may leave this summer - report
Coulibaly should have been given more opportunities at Leicester. He's only been here a short while. So City do not even know just what he might bring to the table yet. Nevertheless, this suggestion has emerged:
"The lack of an appearance for Woyo Coulibaly does not bode well for the full-back. It may be that his City career ends this summer, just over six months on from his January arrival."Jordan Blackwell, LCFC Live
