The Leicester stars most likely to leave during January transfer window

Leicester City Football Club requires a restart on and off the field of play. How many times have fans, pundits or analysts like ourselves made that kind of statement over the previous three or four years? A lot! Since stubborn but maiden FA Cup-winning LCFC head coach Brendan Rodgers left King Power Stadium, the Foxes have been on a steady decline in all areas barring youth production, it seems.

As I indicated, Rodgers' tenure hurt the organisation as much as it helped Leicester impress. The powers-that-be on Filbert Way appear to have gotten themselves into the unorganised and financial mess they are currently in due to a desire to satisfy the Northern Irishman's ambitions. And those aspirations were, unavoidably, aligned with the Blue Army fan base's wishes.

So now the East Midlands side are on a different path, sad as it is for a supporter like myself to admit. We must do things differently; the lure and bright lights of Premier League football is a thing of the past, or an unattainable wish at present.

In contemporary times, City must explore and utilise free transfers and loans from the less luxury spot of second division football. The temptation ballers once felt to move to Leicestershire has all but evaporated with Jordan James; possibly our final high quality signing for a while.

I'm sure the former Birmingham City man is now questioning his temporary switch; and will probably not sign permanently on second thoughts - if his contract permits. All this leaves one remaining question: 'which of our undesirable personnel can we rid ourselves of in the New Year? Yippee!

These Leicester City stars could leave once the January transfer window opens

I'm sure you've heard the rumours about Harry Winks' lack of commitment. Not to mention the suggestion that Wout Faes will finally be shipped out soon. Well, so have we; here is more on the subject:

"There are several candidates who could leave, most notably Harry Winks, who has absent from the squad for the past five games, as well as Wout Faes and Julian Carranza, who have been unused substitutes for a series of matches."
