If things are not going Leicester City's way in a match, or for multiple matches, the Blue Army fan base will let the team, manager and owners know about it! How do they do this? The only way they know how and that is most effective: chanting and even protesting if events call for it.
Though the singing isn't always savoury: Foxes of Leicester condemned recent xenophobia and death threats from a minority of the support. Yet the vast majority of the group use their voices to be heard in the hope of positive change on Filbert Way.
Sadly the LCFC support has had much to protest about recently, with the Foxes suffering quite a lot over the previous three or so years. On-pitch performances declined drastically over the aforementioned time frame; causing the Leicestershire outfit to stagnate badly.
Punishment in the form of hefty fines, a transfer embargo or even a points deduction has been widely reported. Although it is the incompetence on the field of play which I would like (or dislike!) to bring to your attention on this occasion (Thursday, November 27). What's the matter with Marti Cifuentes' attack?
Here is a simply shocking statistic which prompted a reality check from Leicester City fans for Foxes players
Leicester are currently fifteenth in the English Football League Championship table - 15th! That fact is pretty unacceptable for a recently demoted Premier League side with the squad and standing that the King Power club has (or had, sorry as I am to admit it!).
However, the area I will focus on today is the City front line. The three goals our senior strikers have contributed is being discussed again. Not to mention the fact that Leicester didn't produce a shot for the last 70 minutes of the Southampton fixture:
"On Tuesday night, City’s last shot came in the 19th minute. There won’t be many fans that feel their team has shown them respect if they go 71 minutes without even mustering an effort at goal."Leicester Mercury
Naturally the paying, loyal away support in attendance was not best pleased with that effort:
"It was not a surprise when there were chants of “you’re not fit to wear the shirt” after the final whistle."Jordan Blackwell
