Recently - along with allegedly making unkind but fair comment about Foxes director of football Jon Rudkin- the Vardys (Jamie and Rebekah) were asked about the striker's possible return to King Power Stadium one day. Oh, how that unlikely but incredibly motivating eventuality would delight a heavily suffering Leicester City support at present. Though Jamie Vardy now plays his football in the Italian Serie A division in the City of Violins: Cremona.
Cremonese are now mid-table thanks to the former England hitman's goalscoring exploits in Italy. In the meantime, much of Vardy's family have reportedly joined him living on Lake Garda. Apparently the English family, 'Becky included' have taken to the continent like ducks to water, if we believe public profiles and sanitised media reports. Other unsubstantiated speculation exists at the moment suggesting that at least the wife is fed up with their new domestic arrangement.
If the Vardys eventually get fed up with Cremonese and the area, maybe at some stage they will return to the Leicestershire countryside they so enjoyed. That could, obviously, include a return to Filbert Way with the Foxes. The LCFC faithful can only dream! And Mrs Vardy did give some incentive, or at least a remark, on that possibility during her recent Instagram Question and Answer session.
