Leicester City Football Club is still yet to reveal its definitive retained list of footballers for the approaching summer window. However, the Foxes hierarchy has now named a select group of players who have successfully formalised new deals, secured extensions to their existing professional contracts and been made offers.

Such public declarations serve as a vital instrument of transparency, allowing the institution to signal its strategic direction while respecting the professional realities of its personnel. Despite this, a palpable unease persists among the faithful, as the club has yet to publish the comprehensive audit of exactly who will remain at King Power Stadium alongside the aforementioned individuals.

These Leicester City players have signed new contracts, while others have been made offers amid the release of some senior Foxes

The official correspondence confirms the departure of 10 senior players whose tenures are concluding, a list headlined by influential club captain, Ricardo Pereira. Alongside him, the likes of Patson Daka, Jordan Ayew, Jamaal Lascelles, and Wanya Marçal find themselves exiting the fold. Meanwhile loanees such as Aaron Ramsey and Jordan James prepare to return to their parent clubs.

"Contract offers have also been made to goalkeepers Stevie Bausor and Harry French, both 20, defenders Mirsad Ali, 20 and Bobby Amartey, 19, midfielders Silko Thomas and Logan Briggs, both 21 and forward Josh King, 20."

LCFC simultaneously exercised options to extend the professional terms of five promising academy prospects, including midfielders Henry Cartwright, Tommy Neale, and Ryan Donnelly, as well as defenders Thomas Wilson-Brown and Reiss Khela. Furthermore, concrete contract offers have been extended to a burgeoning group of younger talents, such as goalkeepers Stevie Bausor and Harry French, as the club attempts to solidify its foundational structure for the seasons ahead.

"Meanwhile we can also confirm that goalkeeper Jake Donohue, 20, defender Jahmari Lindsay, 21, midfielders Alfie Fisken, 20, Toby Onanaye, 19 and Olaoluwa Omobolaji, 18 and striker Chris Popov, 21, will be leaving the Football Club."

Inevitably, the shifting landscape of the squad suggests that further departures are on the horizon, with several figures likely to be sold to recalibrate the financial and tactical balance of the dressing room. Moreover, uncertainty lingers regarding veteran goalkeeper Asmir Begovic, whose continued presence in the squad remains subject to ongoing negotiations. Should those discussions stall, he too may join the mounting exodus of departing professionals.

Which remaining City stars will exit? Possibly Ben Nelson, Abdul Fatawu and Jeremy Monga.
