The Leicester City hierarchy supposedly have a wishlist of potential new team managers. However, at present LCFC's current boss Ruud van Nistelrooy is yet to be sacked from his disappointing role. Although, that eventuality is expected to transpire at any moment really. Though the possible indecision and non communication between the two parties is fairly surprising from Leicester - but not a shock anymore!
If and when the 48-year-old does eventually go, the Foxes' Blue Army fan base will hope that Jon Rudkin (the flimsy director of football) and Aiyawatt 'Khun Top' Srivaddhanaprabha (the increasingly under pressure chairman) have the right person ready and waiting to become the King Power side's head coach.
Even so, we can most likely rule two potential managerial candidates out of contention after recent developments. We will now explain why a pair of gaffers on Leicester's list will not join the East Midlands outfit.
Duo on Leicester City's list of favourites will not join King Power club for these respective reasons
In spite of van Nistelrooy remaining Leicester's boss, for now, a plethora of names have been tenuosly, tentatively and thoughtfully linked with moves to Leicestershire this summer. I can tell you this for certain: the supporters don't want another gamble.
Even Enzo Maresca, who was massively successful on paper in his first and only year as a Fox, was somewhat of a wildcard choice at LCFC. Nevertheless, the Italian was prudent and skilled enough to guide Leicester to a superb Championship triumph.
City will soon be looking to replace van Nistelrooy, if reporting is accurate. Nevertheless, a pair of options are seemingly out of the question. Firstly, Lee Carsley:
"England Under-21s head coach Lee Carsley has signed a new deal that runs to the end of the 2027 European Championship."Leicestershire Live
Secondly, it appears as though Liam Rosenior will not sign on as the latest Foxes manager either. Danny Rohl and Russell Martin are said to be in with a chance.
"Yet, despite Leicester’s apparent interest, it’s hard to see why he would make the move right now. Firstly, Rosenior seems very happy in France, and he signed a new contract with Strasbourg at the end of April.FLW
Even though some will argue contracts mean little in modern football, it proves he is happy, and it will presumably make it difficult for Leicester, or any other club, to prise him away"
