Maybe none of Jakub Stolarczyk, Alex McCarthy or Franco Ravizzoli are trusted, considered appropriate or good enough to solidify themselves as Leicester City's No.1 goalkeeper. Stolarczyk will surely consider himself the best stopper on Filbert Way, and he may be right in merely shot-stopping sense.
However, the Pole is drastically incapable of keeping goal as well as he should. The issues the 25-year-old has exhibited since making the Foxes first-team are myriad: ranging from hesitancy in distribution to poor decision-making under pressure and inconsistent command of his penalty area.
Ravizzoli is a bit of an unknown quantity at King Power Stadium at present, though his exceptionally brief spell with latest LCFC boss Russell Martin at MK Dons does stand in the new City goalie's favour. Finally McCarthy is definitely a favourite of Martin: they were together quite extensively at Southampton and the veteran can sufficiently play with his feet - just about!
This gives the 36-year-old a clear advantage in the race to be Martin's starting 'keeper. However, Leicester are supposedly tracking another for the same role, meaning the City gaffer may not be entirely content with any of his trio in the goalkeeping union.
What to know about Leicester City target Arthur Okonkwo
According to a report from Foot Mercato, the Foxes have made an inquiry to sign Wrexham's Arthur Okonkwo. He's a 24-year-old who was the Welsh outfit's first choice last season ahead of former Leicester keeper Danny Ward.
Okonkwo kept nine clean sheets in 39 Championship appearances as Wrexham finished just outside the play-offs, completing 53.2 per cent of his passes. Wildly, that's a distribution rate lower than Stolarczyk's 67.1%, but one that comes with far greater match experience at this level.

The London-born athlete is now in the final year of his contract at the Racecourse Ground and could be available for a modest fee, with Charlton Athletic also having registered interest via a loan proposal. The Red Dragons' £8 million move for Sunderland goalkeeper Anthony Patterson last week has further signalled that Okonkwo may be allowed to depart; Leicester can therefore recruit a proven, young Championship 'keeper who would immediately challenge.
