Leicester City face many threats over the offseason in what is sure to be one of the busiest and most crucial summers of the East Midlands club's modern era. The bulk of the playing squad could be put up for sale in order to ship a few valuable assets. That move should potentially satisfy Profit and Sustainability parameters.

However, all this leaves LCFC's Blue Army fan base wondering which of their favourite stars and underdogs will leave King Power Stadium during preseason. To that end, an unexpected bid for an emerging Leicester player has illuminated lesser known talent amongst the Foxes group.

Foxes Goalkeeping situation

Mads Hermansen is currently the undisputed No.1 at Leicester. Though some people expect his understudy, Jakub Stolarczyk, to challenge that supremacy next season. The latter is somewhat pushing to be first-choice, he exhibited regular quality in his teammate's absence.

Although, Stolarczyk might not have to rival his colleague. His ascendancy to City's goalkeeping throne may eventually be automatic. That's because a sale is predicted for Hermansen soon. I don't think it's an area for Foxes fans to be concerned about really.

While Danny Ward and Daniel Iversen have exited, LCFC's existing options in the net will be comparatively exceptional in the Championship. Though, if Hermansen does in fact depart, backup will be required.

Maybe former West Ham United goalie Lukasz Fabianski or Ex-Chelsea man Lucas Bergstrom could become the understudies. Both are respectively available for free when the market resumes.

Yet City are probably slightly worried and surprised that another professional on their books has been targeted. It's not that Stolarczyk isn't good enough to have admiration - that's kind of the point.

"That’s according to Sky Sports reporter Rob Dorsett who says the Foxes have ‘rejected a bid’ from Championship rivals Norwich City."

It's just that the Pole wasn't the subject of rumours before now. Evidently, a new contract hasn't deterred Norwich City.
