Nobody would have seen Eberechi Eze to Arsenal coming a couple of days ago, but alas, this transfer window just took another turn. And now, Leicester City could cash in a big cheque thanks to Arsenal.

Even though Leicester is in the Championship right now, the Foxes will still be keeping an eye on their Premier League counterparts. It won't be long before they're back where they belong, after all.

Despite being in the second tier of English football, there are still some players in the Leicester squad who belong in the upper tier. One of those players, who is still in the early days of his career, could be headed back to the top flight before he could even smell the Championship air.

Bilal El Khannouss is believed to be Crystal Palace bound. And now, there will be no further deliberations in the Moroccan's journey to London.

Leicester can sanction Bilal El Khannouss sale thanks to Arsenal

Earlier today, we published a report which cited Crystal Palace waiting to sell Eberechi Eze before they signed Bilal El Khannouss. This news came after the London-based team agreed upon a fee to sign the Leicester starlet for £32m.

If £32m ends up being the base fee for El Khannouss, then he would become Crystal Palace's record signing ever. That's impressive for more than one reason- First, Palace are the FA Cup and Community Shield champions without spending a dime, but secondly, because Leicester produced their soon-to-be record signing... Kinda.

It was actually Genk who made El Khannouss the player he is, but Leicester should be given some props for recognizing he's worthy of the Premier League.

Anyway, how does Arsenal's last-minute swoop to steal Eberechi Eze from Tottenham's grasp benefit Leicester? Well, aside from being downright entertaining, Leicester will soon be given the freedom to sell one of their most prized assets, and use that money however they wish.

Selling a player is never a nice feeling, and El Khannouss will certainly be missed. However, no Leicester fan seriously expected him to stay. He deserves to fly his wings in the Premier League, and there'll be no hard feelings.

End of an era for El Khannouss, but Leicester have seen their fair share of eras ending. His departure opens the door for another young player to shine at the King Power.
