Leicester City's best and most famous ever player, Jamie Vardy, is currently without a team. The former England striker is now age 38, but he believes he can keep going until he's at least 40 years old. Although some of us eagerly watching on believe it is rather curious that Vardy is yet to find a new side. I mean, the Premier League, the Championship and the Scottish Premiership have all restarted. Not to mention LaLiga, a league which contains supposed admires of 'Vards', beginning again. However, the former Fleetwood Town man is said to have selected his next club. The Foxes' Blue Army fan base will be eager to know the reported choice. Vardy is apparently 'desperate' for a deal to be done in time while the transfer window remains active. City supporters will also be keen to learn which ex-LCFC head coach the centre forward will possibly be reunited with.
Why Foxes faithful cares
Vardy's next move is a point of intruige for Leicester's support. I mean, he is our most iconised and successful player in history to be fair. Therefore, in spite of the East Midlands outfit's own problems and ambitions, interest in Vardy is totally normal and justified.
Leicester City legend Jamie Vardy has chosen next club and is desperate for deal during current transfer window
So, we all want to know where Vardy may end up. And The Sun has today (Monday, August 18) made a declaration to that end. The controversial outlet asserts that the player has his 'heart set' on a move to Scotland to play in the Scottish Premiership.
"JAMIE VARDY has his “heart set” on a move to Celtic, and an emotional reunion with Brendan Rodgers - as he targets playing on until he is FORTY!
SunSport can reveal the ex-England ace is “desperate” to complete a move to Scotland before the window slams shut."
And Vardy would like to represent Celtic, one of, if not the, most successful team north of the border. A move to the Hoops would, of course, pair Vardy up with one-time LCFC boss Brendan Rodgers.
