Yes, it finally happened! Leicester City broke their winless run this weekend in timely fashion. The victory against Norwich City on Saturday was ensured thanks to two beautifully taken Foxes finishes. First of all, Jamaica National Team representative Bobby De Cordova-Reid notched an excellent half volley to equalise for the East Midlanders as they travelled to Norfolk.

Lastly but by no means least of all, City's Wales international Jordan James scored the winning goal again. The box-to-box midfielder is rapidly becoming a fan favourite on Filbert Way. As predicted very early by yours truly on this very website, not to toot my own horn so to speak. Let's hope signing James permanently is the prime task for Leicester's recruitment department this January!

But that's enough from me, let's get down to the business at hand: watching a couple of great LCFC goal videos! But firstly, let's hear what particularly relieved King Power team manager, Marti Cifuentes, had to say about the victory. Three points which may have provided a figurative stay of execution for the Catalan gaffer!

A more at ease Marti Cifuentes on Leicester City vs Norwich City

Below this paragraph are one or two quotes from the City boss. He's not out of the woods just yet, as they say. Though we could now see some momentum from the LCFC side:

"We are all very glad,” said Cifuentes. “Especially because I think we finished as the better team but also the mentality of the guys was brilliant after this difficult period where (Norwich) took the lead. I’m very happy for the group and I’m very happy for the fans... I’m very pleased, I’m very happy, especially for the players because the last few days have not been easy."

So Cifuentes is glad. Very glad indeed. I imagine he also expected to be sacked at some point over the next few days once the Canaries took the lead. His comments speak of someone who felt condemned.

Right, here they are; what you've been waiting for. Let's start with De Cordova-Reid's finish:

Followed by James' header, which is underneath this paragraph. What a way to triumph away from home!
