Oh dear. Another scathing attack on Leicester City Football Club has again transpired from one of their own former stars. On this occasion, the total lack of communication between team manager Ruud van Nistelrooy and the club's ownership and hierarchy is the talking point. A knock-on effect of that element is the loyal Blue Army fan base being totally in the dark on the situation, not to mention the future of the side and organisation as a whole.
The ex-Fox in question also gave insight into why the at risk Dutchman has not yet been fired from his LCFC post. In addition to that the 39-year-old, who was once a prominent footballer in the East Midlands, noted that Leicester have actually been relegated for a month and a half whilst worrying inactivity continues. The retired striker called the King Power calamity a mess. But what did Matty Fryatt say about the Leicestershire side exactly?
Former standout Fox Matty Fryatt believes Leicester City FC is a mess
Fryatt played 189 times for Leicester and scored 62 goals in that period. He notched 12 assists too. Therefore, amongst other things, he is fondly remembered by LCFC supporters as far as I know.
The Nuneaton-born man is one of the more considered ex-pros who we hear giving opinions on the Foxes as I see it. So he is fairly ideally placed to give his thoughts as a kind of Leicester pundit.
As I previously mentioned, Fryatt firstly and embarrassingly labelled LCFC disorderly. He also knowingly called for clarity for fans.
"What a mess it is," Fryatt told BBC East Midlands Today.
"What is it, six weeks since relegation was confirmed and still they are no further along?""
Furthermore in a counterpoint, Fryatt suggested City might be quiet on the managerial front because of their troubling financial situation. He implies van Nistelrooy would have been dismissed prior to now if funding was available for that measure or to subsequently hire another boss for the squad.
