Once again, I have two Leicester City topics (which are hopefully) of interest to our Blue Army fan base. Firstly, I will speak about a young Fox (well, the player in question has actually turned 21 now so will need to kick on) being rewarded with for some good work at his adopted club.
If you weren't aware, LCFC currently have a wonderful crop of emerging development squad personnel over at the Seagrave Training Centre. This particular prospect has been with the club for around 13 years, since joining as an 8-year-old with the Under-9s. So we will learn more about him as I get going.
In the meantime, I have another Foxes story that is sure to ruffle a few feathers. Here on this website, we love a piece like that; typically so I can break it down and explain what the inconsistencies are. Not to mention the absolute untruths or generated hearsay. On this occasion, Leicester centre back Wout Faes has been labelled a top-level footballer by somebody he had a good working relationship with. Oh brother!
Wout Faes being mistreated?
The following quote implies that Faes either hasn't been treated well by Leicester staff, or possibly their fans. Yet the Belgian's awkward and uneven, even cavalier, performances over three years beg to differ. Has his former Stade de Reims Directeur, Général Mathieu, not watched the CB in England?!:
"We saw with Wout that if he developed his game, he could become a top-level player. And for me, he has become a top-level player. We shouldn’t overlook the fact that he’s played in the Premier League and for De Rode Duivels, and not just in one match"Via Sport Witness
Kian Pennant update
Before we begin, and if you didn't know, Leicester's youngster Pennant is the nephew of Jermaine Pennant. The former Arsenal, Liverpool, Leeds United, Birmingham City, Stoke City, Real Zaragoza, Notts County and Wolverhampton Wanderers man was a well-known baller.
"The youngster has played seven times in all competitions"Lcfc.com
Kian also has a footballing brother, Terell Pennant. Terell currently plays for Harborough FC. Anyway, the former has extended his loan at Gateshead until the end of the year.
