Leicester City: Ranieri insists that their title-winning spirit is back
By Jake Cursley
Leicester City have looked a shadow of their former-selves away from home this season however boss Claudio Ranieri believes that they are finally back on track.
Leicester City won their first point away from home at the weekend after drawing to Tottenham 1 – 1 at White Hart Lane.

This follows a troubling start to the season which saw the foxes lose to Hull, Liverpool, Manchester United and Chelsea.
What concerned Leicester City boss Claudio Ranieri wasn’t the teams that Leicester lost to or even the scores when during losses, it was the manner in which they rolled over.
During the opening games of the season Leicester never looked like wanting to take that extra five metre dash for the ball, a polar opposite of last season where they never gave up on a lost cause.
"“Of course, when a team like Leicester goes into the Champions League for the first time the concentration is very high, and that means you leave a little more out for the Premier league,”"
Said Ranieri, speaking to the media.
"“Now we get better and we get back. Now we have to keep going in this way. Our concentration must be the same for the Champions League and Premier League.”"

"“When we played against Chelsea and Manchester United, our concentration was not there. If you remember the first 20 minutes we played so well, but after the first goal we switched off. What happened?”"
"“We can lose, it is not important. But there is a way how we lose. We are used to fighting until the end. (At Spurs) we could have won and we could have lost until the last second. But the performance is good. That is my idea for this team.”"
"“I think we finished thinking about something different and are back together, don’t want to say we didn’t play with spirit. I say we didn’t play with team spirit. The players always gave the maximum but maybe they run more than before, but not as a team. (Against Spurs) we played as a team again. We drew but also if we had lost I would be happy because when I feel this team I am happy.”"
Leicester City travel to face Copenhagen in the Champions League in two days time, a match which could see them guarantee a place in the final 16 of the competition.
Claudio Ranieri will be hoping for the same team spirit that the foxes displayed on Saturday against Spurs.
Should Leicester City win tomorrow, it would mark a historic day in the clubs history and for the squad themselves.
