Midfielders

Andy King – 8.5/10

In his first start since September, the Wales international played well. He put the game to rest late on with a straightforward finish.

Wilfred N’didi – 9/10

Without this man, the scoreline could have easily been different. He won the ball back effortlessly and did not let the Southampton midfield get into the game.

Riyad Mahrez – 9.5/10

Put in a performance to remind us that he is Leicester’s best playe. His exquisite outside-the-box finish got the ball rolling and he constantly looked threat when on the ball.

Shinji Okazaki -10/10

A display of the highest quality. He again showed us the innovative link-play that him and striker Jamie Vardy can carry out.

Let’s not forget his two goals either, both were good finishes.  They showed desire and commitment, especially his second and just like he did last time out for the help in the third against Newcastle, he won Puel the game.

Ben Chilwell – 8/10

Played as a winger and looked good in his new role. His development is ticking along nicely.
