Despite disappointing tactics, another weak defensive display, no clean sheet, and ultimately, loss at Bournemouth – here are our selections for the three probable highest scoring Leicester City Fantasy Premier League this season. Timing is everything in life, and life is Fantasy league.

The Fantasy Premier League is an addictive, soul-destroying, powerhouse of a game. It is important to choose wisely without influence from your team or rivals. Although, there are at least three players worth considering from Leicester City.

Without further ado, here are the three almost picks from the King Power Stadium – close, but not close enough.

Nearly men

Ben Chilwell (form: 1, £5m)

Chilwell is now, pretty much, a household name amongst English football fans. Following his senior England debut at the King Power Stadium. The left-back is enjoying his legitimate breakout season as one of Leicester City’s finest performers.

Yet, with a leaky defence conceding multiple goals in most matches, his goal involvement tally is not enough to earn a ‘top three player’ recommendation. In addition to him not being a particularly cheap option -as his value increases with ownership – he is a secret no more. If Chilwell begins to assist in the league, add him to your watch list!

Harry Maguire (form: 3.3, £5.5m)

England regular and leader Maguire is another internationally recognised Leicester City player. His price is attractive, considering his high-profile and capacity to score or assist aerially at set-pieces.

However, ‘slabhead’ as he is ‘affectionately’ known, only gained real points from one game without the opposition finding the net – Wolverhampton Wanderers.

While, his only goal was an innovative, yet unlikely winner from outside of the penalty box – against Southampton. He is yet to score from a corner or free-kick cross.

Marc Albrighton (form: 4.0, £5.3)

Albrighton pipped Demarai Gray as the sixth choice for FoL. Birmingham born Albrighton has endurance, determination and assist ability. He’ll even chip in with the odd goal or three a season.

Gray, also a former Birmingham player, is inconsistent – despite generally improving and obtaining more minutes in a game. After a poor showing against Bournemouth, the elder will almost certainly return to the starting line-up.

In addition, Albrighton’s transfer fee is relatively low for an, almost, week-in-week-out starter. His form is even comparable with Leicester City’s new nucleus and playmaker, James Maddison.
