Bournemouth are set to lose a host of talent following Premier League relegation. Leicester City will make a move for Welsh winger David Brooks.

It’s time Leicester City made a realistic investment in replacing Riyad Mahrez: Rachid Ghezzal – not good enough; Ayoze Perez – not even a winger; Marc Albrighton – productivity no longer at Premier League standard.

The fans want a specialist right-winger, one proven to be able to give premiership defences problems. Not one who’ll drift inward every time, or go backwards negatively without ideas, nor does the team need under qualified athletes, anymore.

Everyone watching them play this season will have identified a deficiency in the often impressive Foxes attacking play. Don’t get me wrong, I like Perez. He’s a good professional and decent squad player for Leicester.

With the aspirations of the club and now Europa League football in 2020/21, depth including athletes like the Spaniard is absolutely necessary. He may even start in his more successful No.10 role again in the next campaign. Yet the entire Blue Army really expects the recruitment department to step up and provide the best option for the outfit.

Leicester City expected to bid for David Brooks

In Friday’s Express is the claim that Bournemouth’s Welsh star right-wingman, David Brooks, is at the top of Leicester City’s transfer wishlist. However, the Foxes will have to do battle with three other English top-flight sides for the 23-year-old, according to the outlet: Newcastle United, West Ham United and Crystal Palace.

Unfortunately, the past term was a bit of a waste for Brooks due to injury; although the year before he bagged 12 goal involvements.
