Jamie Vardy won the Premier League Golden Boot in 2019/20, former Manchester United striker Andy Cole believes the Leicester City man can do it again.

Leicester City’s Jamie Vardy wowed the footballing world again in 2019/20, as he triumphed in arguably the best top-flight global division, the Premier League. If you believed Vardy’s record breaking goalscoring heroics or title-winning campaign of 2016 were the last of his achievements – you were very, very much mistaken.

Many pundits and experts chose superstars such as Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang of Arsenal or England captain and Tottenham Hotspur striker, Harry Kane, to succeed in bein the top scorer.

Alas, it was the Fox; probably the most underrated consistent forward in the game. Maybe that’s because Vardy took an unusual root to stardom. Although, partizan feelings aside, the former England international stands alone in many categories after a harder route to realising his aspirations.

Can Vardy win the EPL Golden Boot once more in 2020/21? Former Manchester United hitman, Andy Cole, thinks the 33 year old can to it again.

Cole suggested three elite attackers whom could take the Prize this season: Vardy, Aubameyang and Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero.

In other current City news, it doesn’t appear that the Foxes squad will be moving into their brand new state-of-the-art training facility just yet.
