There have been some apparent developments in the Wesley Fofana to Leicester City transfer saga, as Foxes of Leicester explains.

Brendan Rodgers’ wish for a fresh, talented winger should be granted this week. Roma wideman Cengiz Under is almost certainly joining Leicester City, as most of the international media can now point out to you. When Fabrizio Romano talks Europe athletes swapping for the Premier League – Foxes of Leicester takes note.

Anyway, the left-footed, right-sided Turk is the epitome of a necessity on Filbert Way. If Under can perform and provide even two thirds of the output and influence of a certain Algerian to recently ply his trade at the King Power Stadium, who shall remain nameless, the Turkish international will be a success. Here’s a clue – I wasn’t referring to Rachid Ghezzal.

Is Wesley Fofana to Leicester City back on?

Elsewhere, the manager has indicated that he wants defensive reinforcements in his team, too. A centre-back is what he requires; Saint-Etienne’s Wesley Fofana is linked and definitely wants the move, to put it mildly.

That transfer might just be back on, regardless of Le10 Sport suggesting Les Verts’ boss – who just happens to be former Foxes gaffer, Claude Puel – will block any deal. However, if a bid emerges that meets the club’s president’s valuation, Puel will probably be overruled.

Fofana, his family and representatives are set for talks over his future with St-Etienne next week. Furthermore, the King Power side are said to have upped their original offer. Therefore this switch could well be back on.
