Leicester City Midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall is expected to leave the Foxes for Luton Town on loan. Other moves are expected on Filbert Way.

With the Premier League transfer deadline passed, attention has turned to the Championship and opportunities that EPL clubs can create for themselves there. Leicester City have two targets in the crosshairs: Bournemouth’s David Brooks, along with Swansea’s Joe Rodon.

Although, it appears that one Fox is ready to complete a move to a Championship outfit. Quality youngster Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has reportedly agreed to join Luton Town on loan. Football Insider “exclusively” revealed that the Leicestershire-born athlete chose the switch to Kenilworth Road before the chance ends tomorrow.

"A recruitment source has told Football Insider that an agreement has been reached for the defensive midfielder to join the Hatters on a season-long loan deal."

Other Leicester City loans likely

There are other players that Foxes of Leicester expect to leave Filbert Way on a short term basis. They include Croatian centre-half Filip Benkovic, who hasn’t managed to establish himself as a senior starter. Endless loaning won’t happen: at his age, 23, he is likely to make it or break it at Leicester in the next year or so. I have a feeling that despite the injury issues, Brendan Rodgers just doesn’t fancy or rate the Croat.

Another who will probably depart until January or July, is Matty James. Now, the former Manchester United youth man’s terrible injuries have derailed a fairly promising City career. Nevertheless, James’ standing at the King Power club came at a time when the team wasn’t as powerful or competent as now. The midfielder does have top-level aptitude, but his future may be elsewhere.

light. Must Read. Double injury blow for Foxes

Around the nations, Leicester players have enjoyed – or not in some cases – varying results from their international fixtures during the top-flight break. Sadly Jonny Evans and Caglar Soyuncu both suffered knocks.
