There are currently transfer rumours that Leicester City are looking to re-sign an Academy graduate who left the club, Liam Moore.

Just because the transfer window has only just recently shut, don’t think that means you’re safe from Leicester City speculation, conjecture and plain old lying that should be investigated by some kind of independent board for journalistic misdeeds! Anyway, I’m digressing away from the main topic of this article – my apologies.

Apparently the Foxes are keen on re-signing their former player Liam Moore. Moore spent around 15 long years at the East Midlands side, who he joined at age eight. He hails from Loughborough in Leicestershire, so there is an obvious affinity between athlete and club.

In a TEAMtalk ‘exclusive’, the outlet claim that two Reading stars, one of course being Moore, are being targeted by multiple Premier League teams. This is all due to the Royals’ excellent form in the start of the 2020/21 Championship division.

In fact, the Berkshire outfit have only conceded in one of their six matches this season. That has supposedly prompted several top-flight clubs to monitor the Reading captain’s status and scout his performances. Wolverhampton Wanderers, West Ham United, Crystal Palace, Southampton and Newcastle United are the other teams mentioned with regard to eyeing the 27 year old,  versatile defender.

Moore is thought to have a low value of around £4.5 million, as per Birmingham Mail.

It’s Arsenal next up for Leicester this Sunday in the Premier League. Unfortunately the Foxes have injury issues to contend with: Caglar Soyuncu, Ricardo Pereira, Wilfred Ndidi, Jamie Vardy and Daniel Amartey among them. Nevertheless, they did manage to beat Zorya Luhansk in the Europa League. However, Arsenal also have some unfit personnel: Pablo Mari, Calum Chambers, Rob Holding, Gabriel Martinelli, Gabriel, Willian and Dani Ceballos.
