Leicester: Pundits predict Foxes v Leeds outcome
In the previous meeting between Leicester City and Leeds United, the Foxes were winners. What do high profile pundits think will happen this time at King Power Stadium?
Youri Tielemans’ brace and solitary goals from Harvey Barnes and Jamie Vardy did the damage for Leicester in the match in November at Elland Road. Many experts and fans thought the Whites would provide a much sterner test for the Foxes.
But, contrastingly, that game was actually the first push towards the current title charge. It was subsequent to the footing of defeating Manchester City and Arsenal at their Etihad along with Emirates Stadia. Although, describing those scalps as a foundation is arguably slightly underestimating the impact of such progressive victories.
This time around, the east Midlands side are in third Premier League position. While the Peacocks sit 12th having undone much of their stunning early work. Despite sometimes impressing more than the clubs beating them in individual contests; partly through intriguing yet stubborn manager Marcelo Bielsa’s unwillingness to alter any of his core values.
Pundits predict Leicester City v Leeds United
This is what Liverpool legends Mark Lawrenson and Michael Owen expect to happen in the meeting:
"“Leeds got a much needed victory on the road against Newcastle midweek; however, a much tougher task awaits them at the King Power.” Owen, predicting a 3-1 win for City.Lawrenson, however, thinks Leeds will win 2-1: “Leicester completely dismantled Leeds when they met at Elland Road in November but the difference this time is that Foxes striker Jamie Vardy is out injured.”Via Leicestershire Live"
Foxes of Leicester will also give you our forecasted result now. This clash probably won’t end 4-1, unfortunately; FoL expects a slimmer margin of victory – 2-0 to the King Power team.
FoL can give you an extra piece of encouraging information now, as Vardy shared a photo to Instagram. Happily, it seems as though the striker is on the mend and content, saying he’s “recovering well”. Vardy will hopefully be available for the upcoming Wolverhampton Wanderers outing, if not then he should be fit for Brighton & Hove Albion in the FA Cup.
