Leicester City meet Manchester United in an FA Cup quarter-final match on Sunday. Here is all of the Foxes injury news before the important clash.

Excitement is building for Leicester’s Sunday evening clash with the Red Devils – so let’s waste no time and get into news and specifics.

First of all, Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer informed media of the fact that his team will be without  forward Anthony Martial and veteran Juan Mata. United may, though, welcome Eric Bailly and Edinson Cavani back into the side.

Meanwhile, Solskjaer’s opposite number, Brendan Rodgers, confirmed the King Power outfit’s injuries:

"“(Ricardo) won’t be available.”“(Maddison) was out on the field today and looked very good. We’re hopeful that if he has a good couple of weeks during the international break, he could be close when we get back.”“Dennis will be available for the weekend. Cengo will be after the international break.”– Brendan RodgersVia Leicestershire Live"

Leicester City transfer news

Some other news for Foxes fans now as we move on to transfer news, but it’s not players. Rodgers made an assertion or prediction that the Blue Army will back 100 per cent: the Northern Irishman says he can’t see anyone – basically the star players – being sold.

Generally he meant through forcing a move, necessity offloading, or, presumably reiterating that Leicester is no longer a ‘selling club’. However, the boss did admit that he probably said the exact same with regard to former-Fox Ben Chilwell’s departure to ‘big six’ rivals Chelsea and was proven wrong.

Yet, Rodgers ended the chat by claiming the upcoming off-season won’t be the same as other summers when they’ve ridden themselves of talent, partly due to coronavirus. Read more from the gaffer here.
