Many Liverpool supporters happy with Leicester transfer link

Liverpool supporters have taken to social media to declare their happiness with a transfer link to Leicester City’s Caglar Soyuncu.

You can’t blame the Reds fans for fancying a bit of Turkish delight on Merseyside! Who wouldn’t want the tall, strong, majestic and dangerous centre-half in their team? Apart from being an opponent whom opposition hate to play against, Soyuncu reads the game particularly well too, making incisive passes throughout games on average.

And those attributes are precisely why the FSG (Fenway Sports Group) side will face stern negotiating sessions with the King Power club if they want to secure Soyuncu’s services. Leicester’s owners are renowned as stiff negotiators, unwilling to part with players for less than their usually higher valuations. KPIG (the King Power International Group) will not be bullied or made to sell if they aren’t prepared to do so.

"According to the Daily Mirror, they [Liverpool] are keen on the likes of Ibrahima Konate, Ben White and Duje Caleta-Car.Making Ozan Kabak’s loan move permanent also remains an option. But the report also suggests that the Leicester City man [Soyuncu] has his admirers at Anfield."

I mean, the guy above is wrong: Van Dijk is the Premier League’s preeminent centre-back, but the Fox isn’t far behind in the rankings.

Again, a definite desire for the Turk to join Liverpool.

A gentle tide of optimism and thought emerges with the speculation.

If Foxes of Leicester had to guess, we can envision the Merseysiders enquiring about the player during the off-season, yet can’t imagine a price being agreed.
