Leicester City won the FA Cup for the time on an incredibly emotional day for everyone associated with the football club!

Youri Tielemans smashed in one the great all time FA Cup final goals to send everyone into absolute delirium. It was an incredible finish from a wonderful player!

The game really wasn’t a good one but the thousands of Foxes fans were as loud as ever, but you could sense the nerves.

Every fan around the country was shaking when Chelsea started throwing everything at an equaliser, but they were met with Kasper Schmeichel’s quality! Two outrageous saves kept his side in the game but there was one final twist.

Former Fox and enemy Ben Chilwell crept round the near post and a couple ricochets later he was celebrating at the corner flag. But VAR came into play and didn’t it serve up an absolute treat.

Chilwell was offside by inches and the Leicester City fans went even more mental! The incredible players saw out the final few moments to win the FA Cup.

Everyone broke down, including me, and some incredible scenes followed with Top celebrating with the team to make every ‘Big 6’ fan jealous.

I’m so proud of this team and they deserve everything that comes their way.

Here’s the ratings:

Kasper Schmeichel- 9

A captains performance! In the big moments he always delivers. Two incredible saves that ultimately won his side the FA Cup.

Wesley Fofana- 8

This legend was immense. Strong, physical and brilliant, absolutely fantastic

Jonny Evans- 5

Clearly wasn’t right. He had to back off a lot because he wasn’t confident in his pace and fitness to keep up with Werner and co.

Caglar Soyuncu- 6

Really poor in the first half. Gave the ball away so much that his side couldn’t build up any pressure. He also got beat far too many times which is so unlike him. But then normal service was resumed as nothing went past him in the second half.

Luke Thomas- 8

For a local lad and a young one at that, he was brilliant. Clearly played with so much adrenaline as he went into every challenge like it was his last!

Wilfred Ndidi- 9

The best defensive midfielder on the pitch, and therefore the best in the world. He shone above Kante today, nicking every possible loose ball and breaking up dangerous situations.

Youri Tielemans- 10

I LOVE YOU, that Rio Ferdinand meme where he talks about Ole being at the wheel is so relevant to this. Just get him to sign any contract he wants. What a goal! He gets a 10 just because of the goal, aside from that he was the best player on the pitch. Controlled the game and gave Leicester a foothold in the game.

Timothy Castange- 7

Understated but definitely key today. He had to play in three different positions today and was quality. When he moved to right centre back he had a lot deal with, but he dealt with it a hell of a lot better than he did against Newcastle.

Ayoze Perez- 7

Couldn’t get into the game, but who cares? Not me. Just wasn’t the type of game for him, but worked very hard!

Jamie Vardy- 8

He didn’t actually do anything but he didn’t stop running! He deserves this, Leicester City’s best ever player.

Kelechi Iheanacho- 7

Not great today, he lost the ball a lot which he tends to do but recently he has been able to add moments of quality in between. However, Rudiger was so tight to him and he simply couldn’t adjust.

Substitutes:

Marc Albrighton- 7

Worked hard obviously but that’s it

Hamza Choudhury- 6

Ran around like a mad man for his boyhood club!

Trending. Leicester City look to bigger picture by signing youth. light

Wes Morgan- 7

I was sceptical about this change, but it actually paid off! Big headers at the end from the club captain.
