Leicester and Arsenal linked with transfer for rising Spain star
Leicester City and Arsenal are linked with a transfer for a currently rising La Liga star. Villarreal’s Yeremi Pino has apparently gained Premier League attention following some excellent performances.
Well, we didn’t get much of a respite from the transfer talk, did we? Oh well, at least in this instance the speculation could benefit Leicester and concerns a player who is certainly on the rise and capturing attention in Spain.
Pino, at the tender age of 18 – he turns age-19 in less than a couple of weeks – is winning praise and attaining many fans in his native country. This season, miraculously, he has already managed to produce the same amount of goal contributions after six games as he did in 20 appearances in 2020/21; that includes one goal and three assists this, comparatively to the exact opposite last.
Recently the Foxes have been connected, along with Premier League rivals Arsenal, with eyeing the versatile winger and now Spain international:
"Leicester City are keeping tabs on young Spanish winger Yeremi Pino ahead of a potential summer transfer, according to reports in SpainVia Leicester Mercury"
Next up for Leicester City after the international break
When this awful, torturous hiatus from domestic football is finally over – who knew a fortnight could feel like a decade – Leicester will be back in action. On Saturday, October 16, the Foxes face the challenge of Manchester United and Cristiano Ronaldo.
Ronaldo was unfairly awarded the English top-flight Player of the Month accolade for September last week; he was outperformed by almost one player from pretty much every other team. Yet the Portuguese’s influence on the EPL is immeasurable, to be fair.
Even I am now, technically, making the imminent meeting all about the forward. Yet the fearless Foxes won’t be too worried – their form is more scary than him at the moment and must be resolved with a victory against a side such as Man United.
