Marc Albrighton – 7

Albrighton made his 300th appearance for Leicester City, and spent the game playing as a wingback.

His first half he seemed to struggle to contain the Tottenham defence, however in the second half he put in a much better showing. In the last 10 minutes of the game he seemed to be one of the few LCFC players putting in effort to try and seal the win.

Leicester’s utility man was once again the heartbeat of the side even as he is getter older, he continues to lead by prime example.

Youri Tielemans – 3

One of the worst performances from our record signing since he joined in 2019. From the opening minutes the Belgian seemed lethargic was very much a spectator for the 90 minutes.

Tielemans game went from bad to worse when he foolishly gave the ball away after the kick-off from the visitors’ second goal, resulting in a counter-attack that lead to the Tottenham winner. The central midfielder lacked the energy that he normally brings to games and his passing was not much better.

On a number of occasions he would try and force passes that weren’t there or simply give the ball away to easily in the middle of the park. The Belgian was a shadow of himself out there and would have left the Blue Army wondering if his mind was elsewhere with his contract talks stalling.
