Wilfred Ndidi: 6/10

Like Amartey, Wilf was generally exemplary in his defensive duties, being in the right place to cut out dangerous attacks. Nevertheless, he committed the cardinal sin of losing his man for the opening goal.

Luke Thomas: 6/10

Another decent display by the youngster but at times he struggled to pick his passes. Wasn’t particularly bad but not particularly good either.

Midfielders and attackers

Marc Albrighton: 7/10

As ever, Marc Albrighton put in a 10/10 for effort and in the first half was excellent at reading the game to cut out attacks. He tired badly in the second half, nearly giving away a goal.

Boubakary Soumare: 5/10

Unfortunately, the Frenchman was rather lacklustre, a theme of his Leicester City career so far. He struggled to show for the ball and there was one notable moment where he seemed to lose control of his dribbling.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall: 6/10

Brought energy to the midfield as expected but disappointing in showing for the hall despite some nice passes. Lucky that he wasn’t punished for giving up possession too easily.
