Leicester City aren’t done with transfers yet with a seventh signing eyed. Foxes of Leicester detail LCFC target and current Galatasaray winger Yunus Akgun. In addition to that, FoL discuss other news related to the east Midlands club.

Turkish reporting claims that Leicester are accelerating discussions with Galatasaray regarding Akgun. The 23-year-old is an international with Turkey; he played regularly in the Super Lig as well as featuring in the Champions League.

Options are still wanted at City as Maresca hopefully builds a Championship-winning team. A loan deal is touted here, but the Foxes may have an option to buy.

News from around the Leicester City sphere

Leicester City Football Club specialist outlet Leicestershire Live have conducted another Question and Answer session with their followers with LCFC correspondent Jordan Blackwell. In his preamble before answering enquiries from the Blue Army, the journalist declares that Foxes boss Enzo Maresca has made a ‘superb’ start to life at King Power Stadium. And FoL would have to agree; though it may be a steady seeming yet winning beginning to some of the uninformed.

Contrary to reactive Leicester fans who believe that the Italian should already have the second division side playing like treble-winners Manchester City just because he worked under Pep Guardiola, Maresca appears methodical in approach. His knowledge is first-class; he is making his way, 100 percent successfully so far, with a brand new team that is evolving. Why on earth do people think every game should be won three or four to nil already?!

Whilst on the subject of Maresca, Blackwell spoke of LCFC’s intent to add a few more fresh faces to the Foxes squad. The former is said to want three further signings. The potential incomings include a centreback and a rightwinger; obviously Akgun is a candidate for the latter position.
