Cesare Casadei: 4

The Chelsea loanee is still trying to find his feet in a Foxes uniform. At times he has shown flashes of quality. But it’s been too few and far between, the misplaced passes and seemingly inability to stay on his feet. With the high level of competition in that City midfield the Italian is going to need to step up his game if he wants to solidify himself a spot long term.

Marc Albrighton: 5

At the ripe age now of 35 Albrighton is not the athlete he once was. Nonetheless his effort levels could not be faulted. A very professional performance of a man short of minutes this season, in a game in which his side had very little of the ball.

Kasey McAteer: 6

The Foxes top scorer continues to amaze. His now 5th goal this season and he took said goal extremely well. What the 20-year-old lacks in technical ability he makes up for with his intelligent runs and composed finishing. Other than the goal he didn’t offer much at all -not though any fault of his own- he simply lacked the service. Easily City’s breakout star of the season.

Kelechi Iheanacho: 3

Still yet to find his feet this season, not just in a goal scoring capacity but his overall game has been severely lacking. His hold up play at times was competent in the first half. But he was virtually a spectator for the time he spent on the pitch in the second before he was substituted. Allowing himself on numerous occasions to get pinned by the centre half. Not his best work.

Leicester City Substitutes:

Wilfred Ndidi: 5

The Nigerian provided some good defensive work during his cameo and had he sorted out his feet quicker he may have equalised in the later stages. Nonetheless it was a solid display.

Patson Daka: 5
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall: 5
Issahaku Fatawu: 5

All three substitutes came on with Leicester chasing the game and had very little impact or chances to make make an impact thus the default 5 is given to the three of them.
