Abdul Fatawu earns himself a telling-off from Marti Cifuentes for this

Things aren't going right for Leicester City at the moment. The situation was rumbling on satisfactorily for a while; in spite of much room for improvement. When manager Marti Cifuentes oversaw a marvellous away victory at Swansea City in Wales, optimism grew. However, another tedious draw against Portsmouth at King Power Stadium was followed by a pretty intolerable defeat up at Hull City's MKM Stadium.

That embarrassment also led to a large chunk more insufferable element of the Tigers' support to launch a cringe inducing troll session across the Foxes' social media channels. Aw; they must have been shocked and over the moon by beating the East Midlanders, unsurprisingly. Hopefully these silly antics from opponents, as well as losing to mediocre clubs like that, can be the much-needed catalyst for LCFC to start playing the way an organisation of this stature should!

One star of the Leicester team was certainly unhappy after losing to Sergej Jakirovic's men. Fatawu could have done better on the night, although he remains one of our superior performers on average. You can click here to read how the Ghana National Team representative slammed poor refereeing and opposition left back Akin Famewo. Although, the winger's gaffer wasn't best pleased with his player's post.

Abdul Fatawu gets told off by Leicester City boss for complaint on Instagram

Cifuentes doesn't want Fatawu, or any of his personnel, complaining on Insta, X, Facebook or even MySpace (it does still exist!) after a Leicester loss. And I'd tend to agree with the Catalan in that instance.

However, Cifuentes oddly stated that he wouldn't mind players moaning online following a victory. OK. Anyway, what did City's head coach say about Fatawu at his pre-Millwall press conference? The quote is below:

"I’ve already spoken with Abdul. I was clear and honest with him that the timing is not the right one. If we were winning 3-0, I’m open to share those kinds of thoughts. I think he was already feeling sorry over the timing of it. The timing looks like we are being sore. The disappointment, you need to show it in the next game, in the next action. That’s the kind of culture I want to build. We have to try to be better in everything we do."

This is just a mere bump in the road, so nothing to worry about. Hopefully I can say the same about the Foxes' form soon!
